So... There were deer outside my window this morning as I woke up. I had the window open because my room was hot, and I heard a noise. I pulled back the blinds, and right outside my window were five deer- three babies and two mamas. One of them was close enough that if I hadn't had a screen on my window, I could've reached out and touched it! Little deer babies are so cute!!

Nora: I’m Nora, a wick, but I was born inta galdori society. So I still have good manners, but I’ve been around wicks too long ta do proper galdor magic, apparently… *sigh* Oh! And *whispers* I’m in the resistance!
Scuro: Scuro Viverti. Galdori. Seventen recruit. You should tell by the uniform if not by my field, dammit. *glares daggers*
Hal: I’m a, uh, passive. *Glances at Scuro, whispers* I escaped. I’m workin’ for the circus now.
Gem: I’m Gem. It’s nice to meet you! I’m human, if you can’t tell. Care to buy a girl a drink? *winks*
Matsi: I am Matsi Dzara, of the tribe of Ethia. I do not know these people, and they seem strange. *scoots away*

You want a hug?
Nora: Haha, sure!
Scuro: Die. In. A. Fire.
Hal: *twitches* Uhh, do I have to?
Gem: If you’re handing them out, gorgeous!
Matsi: Certainly.

You got any bad habits?
Nora: I, uh, bite my lip when I’m nervous. And it seems like I tend to bite off more than I can chew when it comes to magic these days…
Scuro: None whatsoever. Anyone who says differently can go play with magma, for all I care.
Hal: I can’t sit still, an’ I don’t like people gettin’ too close, an’ people should jus’ let me do my job, ‘cause I don’t want ‘em messin’ up an’ doin’ it wrong.
Gem: Depends what you mean by “bad.” Care to find out? *winks again* *sighs* Eh, but seriously? I could stand to stop eating so much. But food is sooo gooood!
Matsi: On my downswings I retreat into my home and do not care to come out. I do not care to speak with others outside of my family, and I can not bring myself to go spar with others, at times.

Are you a boy or a girl?
Nora: I’m a girl.
Scuro: Female.
Hal: Uh, a guy?
Gem: *leans in suggestively* Can’t you tell?
Matsi: I am a girl.

Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Nora: Um… *shifts uncomfortably* I have two older half-brothers... somewhere.
Scuro: My twin sister, Chiaro.
Hal: No. Only child.
Gem: I’m the only one of my kind, love. At least that I know of… I’m the only one of Ma’s, but I never met my Da, so I couldn’t tell you if there are more or not.
Matsi: *grinning* I have seven older brothers. I was to have a twin sister, but she died in the womb.

Are you a virgin?
Nora: *blushing* Oh, yes.
Scuro: Yes, though I don’t see how it’s any of your business.
Hal: Uh, I’m fourteen. *blushes*
Gem: *Winks* What do you think?
Matsi: Yes. Though I have had certain experiences with my past boyfriends.

Who's your crush/mate/spouse/etc.?
Nora: *looks away* I don’t have one.
Scuro: All I need in life is my sister. She understands me better than anyone else ever could.
Hal: *defensive* I’m fourteen! *mutters quietly* Used ta be Calli…
Gem: Oh, the boys, they come and go.
Matsi: At the moment, I have no one but my family.

Do you have any kids?
Nora: Oh, no! I’m not married!
Scuro: *glares* What do you think‽
Hal: I’m fourteen!
Gem: Oh, goodness, no! I’m too smart for that.
Matsi: Considering the fact that I am a virgin, you could safely assume that I do not.

What's your favorite food?
Nora: *Hiding Pat* A little Mugrobi biriyani is never amiss.
Scuro: *Tsk!* I don’t know, chocolate cake! What does it matter?
Hal: Anything, really. Beggars can’t be choosers, ‘n all that.
Gem: I like nothing better than to sit down to a good stout ale and a plate of fried food. Doesn’t matter what, as long as it’s fried.
Matsi: I enjoy the rice grown in the paddies of Anhau.

Have you ever killed anyone?
Nora: *looks away* No… I don’t know if I really could… unless… unless it were to save someone… or for the greater good…
Scuro: Oh, how should I know? All those riots? I can’t keep track of what monsters I’ve cut down.
Hal: *Eyes wide* No. Not that I haven’t wanted to…
Gem: Oh, goodness, no! Unless someone I’ve drunk under has died of alcohol poisoning, that is, haha!
Matsi: No. I fight and spar for the challenge it presents to my body, not for a desire to kill.

Do you like to destroy things?
Nora: No. Why would anyone do that?
Scuro: Ugh, gods, yes. Do you ever have one of those days where you just need to kick a puppy? Gods, I’m having one of them right now… If you’d just shut up and stop asking questions, I could go…
Hal: Sometimes. Iffin’ I’m really angry. I tend ta destroy faces.
Gem: Now, it’s not that I enjoy it. More that it’s a hazard of the job. Being a bouncer has its risks.
Matsi: Again, I do not destroy. Fighting should be a building experience to improve one’s self.

Do you hate/dislike anyone?
Nora: Not really. I’d like it if we could all just get along.
Scuro: Can I go and just kick a puppy? I can kick you instead, if you’d rather. *glances over* Or him. Can I kick him? Damned scrap…
Hal: *flinches away* Uhh, not anymore. I used to hate Dorian, but he’s growin’ on me. *looks over* And galdori. You kick me, and I’ll box yer ears!
Gem: Pssht! No! Not actively. Gollies now and again get on my nerves… And fellows who can’t keep their paws off me or the other girls…
Matsi: I cannot say that I do. If something comes to my mind, I shall endeavor to let you know.

Do you love anyone?
Nora: Well, I don’t think I’ve met “the one” yet, if that’s what you’re asking.
Scuro: My sister. No one else is worthy of it.
Hal: Um. Calli, once. I’m kinda confused about how I feel now, but I’m… figurin’ it out…
Gem: I’ve loved a few in my day. *winks*
Matsi: I have had a few boyfriends, and have loved them. I love my family, as well. As of this moment, there is no one particularly special.

What is your job?
Nora: I’m a glassblower. Sometimes I do entertaining. But these days I’m doing underground work. *glances over* But don’t tell her that.
Scuro: I already heard you. And as a member of the Seventen, I would have no choice but to arrest you if we were in Vienda. As it is, I’m not sure where we are…
Hal: I work lights for the circus.
Gem: I’m, eh… almost between jobs? I have a job, bartending, but I think I’m going to strike out soon and look for something a little more appealing. I’m a singer, too, you know.
Matsi: I fight. Each day I go to the ring among the Roek and put my skills to the test. I place bets on my skill and am rewarded with my necessities in return.

What do you do to relax?
Nora: I practice spells or whip up some fun little things in glass.
Scuro: I ride my moa through the city, though doing so tends to fill me with disgust these days. Humans are everywhere. Thank gods the wicks were largely cast out. I don’t know that I could stand it if the blasted people were still here.
Hal: Er… I just kinda wander around… Think, ‘n stuff.
Gem: I take walks along the beach. There’s nothing better to calm yourself after a long night than to take a stroll and listen to the waves… the gulls…
Matsi: I fight, and at times I dance. It brings my body into balance with my mind, and I am at peace.

There's a person who's teasing you, what would you do?
Nora: I don’t do anything, really. Maybe they’ve been going through a rough patch, you know?
Scuro: Magma their face off.
Hal: Punch ‘em in the face.
Gem: Prove them wrong and drink them under the table.
Matsi: If they tease me, they underestimate me. Then I can only show them that I am truly capable in the ring by fighting harder and smarter to win.

Ever broken the law?
Nora: *shifts uncomfortably* Yeeess? I didn’t really, before… well, before the resistance…
Scuro: Never. I uphold the law. I am the law.
Hal: Pssht, plenny’a times! When yer a kid in Ol’ Rose, ya gotta do what ya gotta do to get by!
Gem: No. Though I’ve made some higher-ups pretty angry before…
Matsi: No. I would never willingly do such a thing. I would never shame myself in such a way. Why would I do something that could send me to the Beggar Flats?

What is your sexuality?
Nora: *balks slightly* Uh, straight.
Scuro: I don’t really have any desire one way or another. I’m interested in advancing, not marriage or relationships besides that of my sister.
Hal: Huh? I like girls.
Gem: Oh, I like me a good man now and again *grins*
Matsi: I have had several boyfriends in the past...

Favorite season?
Nora: Oh, spring, definitely. Everything blooming and green… It’s so nice!
Scuro: Season? Why would I have a favorite season? It’s weather.
Hal: Uh, pshaw, I dunno. Do I gotta pick one? Fall, I guess.
Gem: Oh, summer. I love the heat, and going down to the seaside to get cool in the salty sea breeze.
Matsi: Summer, for then I can dress as I prefer without being so cold.

Who's your best friend?
Nora: Khy or Annie, I guess. But I haven’t seen Annie in a while…
Scuro: My sister, of course.
Hal: Uh, Calli. And some of the other circus people, I guess…
Gem: Hmm, I like everyone, really. I get some regulars in the pub that are a hoot!
Matsi: Aronel, I believe. She is quite kind, and though she cannot see, is a worthy opponent.

Nora: Oh, I hate questions like this… I guess… Forever Young, by Rod Stewart?
Scuro: There isn’t one. ((It’s probably Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas, if she ever figures out that what she’s doing isn’t right))

Nora: Head back and work on my monite pronunciation.
Scuro: Seek out whoever showed this to you and destroy them. This is ridiculous. I should magma your face off, for that matter.
Hal: I have a strobe light to build.
Gem: I’m job searching. We’ll see how well that goes.
Matsi: I shall see if anyone wishes to accept a sparring challenge. I am beginning to feel antsy from sitting still so long.
