My laptop screen spontaneously died. But he's just mostly dead, not all dead. If I hold a flashlight at an angle to the screen, I can see that it's still displaying everything. The problem is that the screen is not illuminating. At all. And it stinks. I've emailed Dell and they suggested I run a diagnostic... pre-boot... thingy. Which is running in the other room now. So, I am using my parent's desktop in here. And I have realized something. Their screen sucks at displaying my art. It looks great on my screen (when it works), but it dices up the color blending into choppy sections. I hate it.
Or maybe it's the browser... I have firefox, and Mom & Dad use explorer (forgive them, they know not what they do).
Either way. I was wondering how my stuff looks on other people's screens. Is it smooth or choppy? How big do the images display? On my computer I set the images so that they fit fully in my browser, so that you don't have to scroll up or down to see the rest of the pic, but I'm noticing that it's super large on this screen.
I'd love to hear from people on this, so that I can adjust my settings appropriately.
